Minnesota gets Hodowanic; Raygor chooses Wyoming

Corey Hodowanic (Cornell High School) signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Minnesota on Monday, May 17th. Corey becomes the third Victory athlete to join the Gophers wrestling team (Thane Antczak and Jake Filkins). He won the division 3 119 state title in February and finished 2nd at the ASICS Folkstyle National Championships, earning his third consecutive All-American honor. Assitant coaches Brandom Eggum and Joe Russell courted Corey the entire season. He took his official visit to Minnesota on April 30th. Corey intends on majoring in sports management.

Two-time state champion Joe Raygor (St. Croix Falls High School) chose the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY in April. Raygor was a Folkstyle National champion and Greco-Roman All-American. He ended his high school career with 91 consecutive wins and two state titles at 171 pounds.

Blake Lundgren (Amery High School) decided on Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD as his school of choice. Blake signed his LOI with the Wolves in April. Northern State competes in NCAA Division II.
